• As a short term solution, whilst a permanent replacement was being recruited, an interim Purchasing Manager was required to help with the day to day running of the purchasing department for this market leading general engineering company
• The engagement spanned a period of seven weeks

• Under the direction of Head of Purchasing a number of projects were undertaken including:

Review of vending

Fleet car disposal

Capture and review of utility spend

Review of inbound/outbound logistics costs

Creation of a central database of supplier and contract information

• Additional duties included day to day supplier progressing and expediting
