Data Centre Infastructure & BI Architecture Procurement

NHS - Commissioning Support Unit (CSU)

Issue

In preparation for go-live this Commissioning Support Unit (CSU), formed out of 10 separate former PCT, across two former SHAs, required new Data Centre infrastructure and Business Intelligence (BI) architecture to support common ways of working and delivery of Services to Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG).

Solution

We led this CSU through the procurement process - based upon a GPS Framework - for the procurement of their core Data Centre infrastructure and Business Intelligence (BI) software / tools to support their day to day operations.

This included authoring all procurement documents, providing commercial advice in to the modification of the framework contract, day to day Bidder liaison, facilitating Bid evaluation, supporting Full Business Case production and assisting with contractual clarifications / close out.
